Support Ukraine: Donate to Relief Organizations
Many in the Jessup community have asked what they can do to support Ukraine. In response, ILSA would like to share a list of organizations actively responding to the crisis. This list is intended as guidance only. We do not endorse any of the organizations listed, nor is this an implied appeal for donations. Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of relevant organizations.

RECOMMENDED BY JESSUP UKRAINE

  • National Bank of Ukraine – donors may contribute to special fundraising accounts created to support the Ukrainian Army or humanitarian assistance efforts
  • Come Back Alive – provides support to the Armed Forces of Ukraine

ADDITIONAL RELIEF ORGANIZATIONS

  • Breathe Charity Fund – originally established in Ukraine to support hospitals during the pandemic, the fund is repurposing all donations to support Ukrainian civilians including hospitals and refugees
  • Care International UK – provides emergency relief, including food, water, hygiene items and other vital supplies, in Ukraine and neighboring countries through their partner People in Need
  • Caritas – providing food, hygiene products, blankets, sleeping bags, mattresses, field kitchens and other needed items to individuals in Ukraine and refugees in Poland
  • ChooseLove – providing vital aid and services to those still in and fleeing the country, including emergency medical care, food, shelter, clothes, legal support, support for the LGBTQIA+ community, and mental health support.
  • Direct Relief – working to provide critical medication and medical supplies to Ukrainian healthcare providers
  • International Medical Corps – provide medical, mental health and protection services to the millions of people affected by the conflict in Ukraine and neighboring countries
  • International Rescue Committee – on the ground in Poland to provide life-saving support to those forced to leave their homes
  • Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders – providing medical humanitarian assistance to people affected by the war
  • Polish Red Cross – distributing food, medical assistance, counseling and other aid to people arriving in Poland from Ukraine
  • Polska Akcja Humanitarna – supports the most vulnerable groups, elderly people, women, and children, through co-operation with local partners
  • Save the Children – provide children and families with immediate aid, such as food, water, hygiene kits, psychosocial support and cash assistance
  • SOS for Children of Ukraine – providing support for Ukrainian children who do not have parental care
  • The Voices of Children Foundation – assisting with the evacuation process and providing emergency psychological assistance to affected children and families across Ukraine
  • UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) – providing protection and humanitarian assistance, including emergency shelters, repairs for homes damaged by shelling, emergency cash assistance, and protection such as psychological support
