In case you missed our panel Jessup 2023: Guide to Memorial Writing, you can watch it on-demand on Youtube. This Jessup 2023 panel features three experienced Jessup judges walking students through the tips and tricks needed to get the best scores on memorials.

Once again, ILSA and the United Nations Audiovisual Library of International Law (AVL) have teamed up to bring Jessup competitors a collection of relevant lectures and instruments that can be used to help prepare for Jessup 2023. You can access it here. The AVL is a virtual training and research centre with more than 400 leading international law scholars, judges and practitioners from different States and legal systems who contribute to its three pillars: the Lecture Series, the Historic Archives and the Research Library.

The Jessup 2023 Basic Materials are now available on our Competitors page under “Competition Materials” and on your team homepages. These basic materials are intended to serve as the starting point for your Jessup 2023 research. However, teams are encouraged to conduct research beyond these basic materials. In a change of practice from previous years, ILSA will not be issuing a second batch of Basic Materials; instead, we will update this list from time to time.
